Course Objectives | The objective of the course is to discuss the difference of literary translation from other types of translation, to examine the strategies and methods which could be used in translating literature, and to descriptively criticize a translated literary work. |

Course Description | Challenges of translating literature will be discussed, the need for preliminary research and analysis in literary translation will be justified, various strategies and methods available will be discussed through practice. |
